Old Soutd Restaurant in Creedmoor

The food was delicious, and well prepared. Menu was quite varied. The wait staff was very friendly, but the food service was slow. We had to get up to find our waiter because they were busy chatting amongst themselves.

Food was good. But really didn't care for staff public display of affection. I thought that was a bit much.

Service was outstanding! Attended a Creedmore Nortel Reunion. Was great to see old co workers after at least 35 years. Returning next year, if the good Lord sees fit.😁

Good food but very pricey

Got chicken gizzards they were tender rice and gravy was good and peaches all for 11.00

Great menu. Friendly service. Welcoming atmosphere. If your looking for food like you had at grandma's every Sunday this is the place for you. The porkchops are juicy, mashed potatoes are real and the variety of veggies are endless. They won't disappoint...

Amazing food! Our server, Emily, was so nice and checked on us often. Staff is excellent! My husband ordered the meatloaf with gravy, with mashed potatoes, collards, and macaroni. I got the grilled shrimp and grilled Whiting with macaroni and fried okra. Everything was great! I don't know what they use when grilling the seafood, but it has just enough bang to make it amazing! My husband is from Washington state, so getting him to eat our southern comfort food has been a challenge... but I think this restaurant definitely succeeded in turning him! We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

The name says it all. Great mom and pop's place. The staff is friendly and everyone knows each other. A locals hideout, when you're greeted by granny or grandpa at the front register you know it's the real deal.

My first experience at old south restaurant was great. I was there for a meeting and upon arrival the hostess and server were very helpful in accommodating us and providing everything we needed for our meeting. Our server make sure that our food was delivered quickly and that we were not interrupted during our meeting which was very helpful. Everyone seemed very pleased with their meals and service was outstanding.

Crazy good food here at this hometown mom and pop! Waitress was perfect, food was good and talking to the owner, who was working the register, was great! Shared a story or two and we had a great time!

Delicious southern home cooked food. The vegetable soup is excellent. It is ways a treat to eat at Old South.

I had breakfast here and it was excellent! The gravy was perfect and im very picky with how gravy should be. Emily the first was very polite and checked in on me. Id love to come here again.

Well let me tell you! This place was amazing! I had stumbled into my Grandma's Kitchen. The service was wonderful oh, the food was delicious! I love this restaurant!!

Old south foods is good but they is slow in serving the foods. Their price is to high.r

Today was my first time ever eating at this place. I had catfish side salad 🥗 🍟 and a tender ribeye 🥩 steak and grilled shrimp 🍤 $24.99 for the Trio and $1.99 for the Pepsi🥤 soda. And the food was good!!! I can’t wait to go again and social distancing and the waitress was very friendly. They have strawberry 🍓 shortcake, carrot 🥕 cake, cherry 🍒 cheesecake 😋

The service is excellent. The food is very good. Everything is sticky.

Food is always great. Customer service is pretty good as well. Fried pork chops and fried flounder are a couple of my family's favorites

Down home style food. Little heavy on the salt, but otherwise pretty darn tasty. Service is good, as one would hope to expect in a country style restaurant. The wait staff was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. It's a convenient spot right off 85 and feels just right when you don't want fast-food while on the road. Swing in and enjoy a nice plate of chicken fried steak or fried pork chops. Either way, you're going to leave satisfied and maybe a little thicker in the belt region.

I called to inquire if they sold a particular food item...i was told the cost of the whole meal...which was very help...my waitress was pleasant and my meal was to my satisfaction and the price was exact .....i will return

Stick to the sandwhiches and salads are you'll be fine. Fried shrimp is adequate. Nice staff, very young. Remember, this is a very local, very southern country restaurant - time moves at a different pace under those parameters :)

Make no mistake breakfast is not served all day, just three items are and that's it.... BS on there menus and online

I called an order in at 12 pm and I was told 10 minutes. I'm just now getting my order. Two people came in and ordered they recieved their order before I did. Please get better
